Securing the New Normal: Evaluating how Organizational Culture and Remote Work Adoption shapes Information Security Policy Compliance
FREDERICK ADRAH, Rahul Singh
Among the many disruptions of the COVID-19 pandemic, one significant outcome was the widespread adoption of remote work. While remote work existed before, it became more prevalent following the pandemic. Extant studies show that organizational culture influences Information Security Policy (ISP) compliance within organizations. In this study, we aim to examine how organizational culture, amid the adoption of remote work, affects compliance with information security policies. We propose a model to investigate how organizational culture impacts ISP compliance in a large financial institution.
